Shave and a Haircut
Shave and a Haircut is a brief, audience participation work for symphony orchestra. It’s interactive elements make it an excellent addition to any family/educational concert.
Shave and a Haircut uses the age-old “call and response” motive as its anchor. The “call” is not always obvious, so the audience's listening skills get a good workout. And so do their hands!

Shave and a Haircut was premiered by the Fort Collins Symphony and Music Director Wes Kenney in September of 2020.
